Jalapeno & Cilantro Deviled Eggs…
I made these jalapeno deviled eggs a few years ago. My nephews were loading up their plates. Don’t you love it when you see that happen? We love holidays at our house. Usually, the best part about getting together is enjoying all of the delicious appetizers, and holiday foods. Easter recipes are always so much fun. Not only are they delicious, but they are also colorful. Spring is finally here and flowers are blooming puts adorable spring dishes like this Easter Bunny Spinach Dip
You can use fresh or pickled jalapeno slices. I’ve used both. I happen to love pickled jalapeno on everything I eat, so that’s my preference. It gives it a relish-type flavor and a little bitty kick.
Cilantro, however, I prefer fresh. You just don’t really get the flavor from dries or partially dried cilantro.
Even though fresh cilantro is my favorite way to go, it’s not quite warm enough for my herb garden. I used partially dried cilantro this time, which is a great substitute in a pinch.
Fresh, pickled, or partially dried – Either way you do it, you’ll love the finished product.
