Materials

  • 2-3 cucumbers - peeled and chopped
  • 2-3 tomatoes - chopped
  • 1 small sweet onion - chopped
  • 1 small head of cabbage - chopped **if you like the purple relish, use purple cabbage - the color from the cabbage when added to this vinegar mixture will color the vegetables purple
  • 1&1/2 cups white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. accent seasoning - substitute with salt if you can't find Accent Seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh dill or dried dill weed seasoning
  • 1 tsp. ground mustard
  • ½ tsp. onion powder

Instructions

  • Mix the vinegar, accent, sugar, dill, mustard, and onion powder together
  • Add the fresh vegetables and mix together
  • Refrigerate until ready. This is a good one to make one day in advance. The flavor only gets better :)
