candy squeeze bottle
wax paper
- 1 12 oz. chocolate melts white
- 24 Pretzel Rods
- 8 Tootsie Rolls
- 32 Candy eyes 2 per mummy and ghost
- ½ cup Halloween sprinkles
Melt the candy melts - I like to put my melts into a microwave proof glass bowl and heat them for 1 minute, stir and then heat for 30 more seconds, stir until smooth
Place wax paper on your work surface
Dip the pretzels halfway into the white chocolate and spin it around until it is coated
*I like to dip it a second time to get a thick coating
Before the pretzels dry, you'll want to attach any decorations so they will stick to the pretzels
I would suggest decorating each one as you dip them
How to decorate for Mummies:
Pour some melted chocolate into the squeeze bottle
*you can also use a zip-tight bag and snip a corner to squeeze the chocolate out of
Add 2 candy eyes to the pretzels
Going in a back and forth zig-zag motion, squeeze more white chocolate onto the rod making it look like a mummy
Decorating for Ghosts:
Add candy eyes
Grab a tootsie roll, break it in half and shape the soft candy into an oval shape
Place it on the pretzel for your ghost mouth
Storing your pretzels - pretzels can be stored covered at room temperature for up to 1 week
