Pizza Crescent Ring {So Easy and Delicious!}

Equipment

  • Flat baking sheet
  • parchment paper

Materials

  • 2 8 oz. Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1 14 oz. Jar of Pizza Sauce - I used Ragu Traditional Pizza Sauce
  • 1 3 oz. pepperoni and/or other pizza toppings (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil Optional -
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese - shredded  Optional -

Instructions

  • Place parchment paper over your baking sheet
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
  • Open 2 refrigerated crescent roll tubes
  • Set out crescent roll triangles in a circle - they should overlap each other and the pointed side should be on the outside of the circle

  • Sprinkle most of the mozzarella cheese on the inside (wide portion) circle of crescent dough - reserve some cheese to go on top of the pepperoni slices

  • Add pepperoni slices on top of the mozzarella cheese 
  • Add a little bit more of mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni
  • Fold the pointed edge of the cresenct roll over the filling and tuck the point under the ring
  • Optional - Rub some olive oil over the top of the ring and sprinkle on Parmesan cheese
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until dough is fully cooked through
  • Pull out of the oven and let cool a little
  • Meanwhile heat the pizza sauce in a saucepan until warm
  • Transfer the pizza ring onto a large plater
  • Place the sauce into a bowl and put the bowl in the middle of the ring

  • Slice the Cresent Ring
  • Serve with sauce for dipping
