Basic White Sauce Recipe {Easy and Delicious}

- 3 tbsp. butter unsalted
- 3 tbsp. flour all-purpose
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
Optional Add-Ins:
- Parmesan Cheese
- Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- Ground Pepper
- Green onion slices
Over medium heatmelt the butter
Add flour and wisk until smooth
Add milk and seasoning
Whisk again until the flour is fully dissolved into the milk
Continue to stir ocassionaly until thick
- Serve as a dipping sauce with bread or over your favorite pasta
- I even like to offer red and white sauce with ravioli. It's delicious when mixed together
- Delicious over shrimp and pasta or chicken and pasta
