Lemon & Jalapeno Flavored Butter Recipe

This Lemon and Jalapeno Flavored Butter goes great with vegetables, steak and fish.

Materials

  • ½ cup soft butter
  • 1 large jalapeno
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Slice the jalapeno -  remove and discard the seeds and veins
  • Chop the jalapeno into small pieces
  • In a small bowl -  mix the butter, jalapeno, and lemon juice
  • Spread onto a piece of wax paper, and roll up into a log
  • Refrigerate for about 1/2 hour, or until firm
  • When you're ready, slice the butter
  • Serve over grilled corn, potatoes, and anything else you can think of
  • Salt to your taste 

Notes

Storing your flavored butter:
  • wrap butter in wax paper and plastic wrap, store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
  • You can wrap it in foil to freeze up to 3 months
