- 2 cups Vanilla Ice Cream amount will vary
- 24 oz. Root Beer amount will vary
Let vanilla ice cream soften and melt a little bit
Pour the semi-melted vanilla ice cream into the bottom of the popsicle - about 1/2 of the way up
Add soda until the fizz reaches the top
Let the fizz settle down and add more soda until the molds are filled up halfway with soda
Place lids onto the popsicles or clear wrap with popsicle sticks inserted into the middle of the mold
- I've had comments that say you can substitute milk for the ice cream
- Another reader commented that she has always used sweetened condensed milk instead of ice cream and a splash of vanilla extract - yum!
Serving amounts will vary - for one can of soda plus 1-2 cups of ice cream should be about 6-8 popsicle molds
