Root Beer Float Popsicles {So Easy!}

Equipment

  • Popsicle Molds or disposable cups

Materials

  • 2 cups Vanilla Ice Cream amount will vary
  • 24 oz. Root Beer amount will vary

Instructions

  • Let vanilla ice cream soften and melt a little bit
  • Pour the semi-melted vanilla ice cream into the bottom of the popsicle - about 1/2 of the way up

  • Add soda until the fizz reaches the top
  • Let the fizz settle down and add more soda until the molds are filled up halfway with soda
  • Place lids onto the popsicles or clear wrap with popsicle sticks inserted into the middle of the mold

Notes

  • I've had comments that say you can substitute milk for the ice cream
  • Another reader commented that she has always used sweetened condensed milk instead of ice cream and a splash of vanilla extract - yum!
Serving amounts will vary -  for one can of soda plus 1-2 cups of ice cream should be about 6-8 popsicle molds
