Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa Recipe

Equipment

  • 1 large pot

Materials

  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2&1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 gallon milk 2% or whole

Instructions

  • Using a large pot, pour the sugar, cocoa, pumpkin pie spice, ginger, and nutmeg into the bottom
  • Whisk it all together
  • Add the gallon of milk, and stir in
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring often so the milk doesn't stick to the bottom, for about 20 minutes

Notes

Serving ideas: serve with whipped cream, a sprinkle of nutmeg and sprinkles
