Ingredients:
- 12 oz. orange gelatin
- 2&1/2 cups steaming hot water
- 4 green pull and peel Twizzlers approximate
Dissolve the 2 packets of orange jello into the hot water
Let it cool off a bit
Scoop 1/3 cup into each quart-sized baggie - push all of the air out and seal the bag
Hold it so the liquid forms into a bottom corner
Secure with a twist tie
Place seam side down onto a platter
Refrigerate the bags for 3+ hours
When you are ready for your carrots, carefully cut the bag open on the seam, and start to peel it at the sides
Set the jiggler down and pull carefully the rest of the bag off - being extra careful at the tip where it can be a little more fragile
For the greenery - cut a few pieces of licorice and push them into the top of the carrot
Make-Ahead and Storage:
You can make these Jell-O Jigglers a few days in advance. Prepare everything and refrigerate the Jell-O in the bag. Wait until just before party time to insert the licorice into the carrots and refrigerate until ready to eat
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
