Cost: $5

Materials

  • Styrofoam balls Any size will do. It would be fun to have a giant mummy, but I used small 2-inch styrofoam balls.
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue I like to use Fabri-Tac
  • Gauze cut into long, narrow strips.

Instructions

  • Cut a small portion of the styrofoam ball off the bottom to level it so it will stand up independently without wobbling.
  • Glue the eyes
  • Then, add glue to the back of the mummy's face.
  • Start wrapping the cheesecloth around the ball, careful not to cover the eyes. *but be sure to get close enough so the cloth frames the eyes
  • Use glue as needed, and use glue to secure the end of the gauze
  • Optional: To add a bloody stitch to the mummy's forehead use red markers or puffy paint.
