- Three white pipe cleaners
- Three red pipe cleaners
- red clown nose optional
Making the Rings
To make the rings, twist one red and white pipe cleaner around each other
Shape the twisted pipe cleaners into a circle
Setting Up the Game
Find a distance where the team can line up in front of their reindeer player. This distance should be challenging to throw from but possible.
Once you have that figured out, place a chair down for the reindeer to sit and place a marker down for the players throwing the rings to stand behind. The distance should be even for each team
Quick Tip: Practice throwing the rings yourself to see how far you can throw them. This will help you determine a reasonable distance for teams to stand away from their target reindeer.
Playing
Divide teams evenly
Assign one person from each team to be the reindeer
The reindeer needs to place the antler headband on their head and sit in the chair provided
Optional: Place a red nose on for added cuteness
The other players should stand across from them, behind their team's line
Typical Ring Toss Game Rules
Players should start throwing rings toward the antlers
Let contestants have at least three tries at ringing their teammate's antlers before the next person in line gets a turn
Rings count as 2 points for a full ring and 1 point for a ring that is leaning on or touching the antler
The first team to get to 21 points wins
