- crayons or markers
- scissors
- laminator or clear packing tape
- small plastic container or tray
- potting soil
- grass seed
- water
HOW TO MAKE THE GRASS HOUSE
- Print the house template.
- Let kids color the house however they like.
- Carefully cut around the house outline.
- Laminate the house or cover both sides with clear tape for protection.
- Fill a small plastic container with soil.
- Sprinkle grass seed on top and lightly cover with soil.
- Insert the laminated house into the soil.
- Water lightly and place in a sunny spot.
Teacher Tip: Wheat Grass grows quickly and works great for projects like this.
Within a few days, kids will start seeing their grass grow
