What you’ll love about this recipe:
Ingredients You’ll Need

- Baked and Cooled Cupcakes – I like these basket weave cupcake liners. It reminds me of an old fishing creel.
- Blue Frosting
- Swedish Fish – Assorted Colors
- One-inch or smaller fishing bobbers
Equipment Needed
Piping bag with a wide-open star tip for frosting cupcakes
How to Make these Bobber Cupcakes
Frost the cupcakes
Swirl blue frosting on top to look like water. Use a spoon or piping bag with an open star tip like this 6B piping tip.

Add the gummy fish
Gently press a gummy fish into the frosting water so it is somewhat submerged.
Add a fishing bobber
Add a small red and white round bobber behind the fish.

Pro-Tip
Fill cupcake wrappers two-thirds of the way up so the cake will rise above the wrapper.
Check for doneness of your cupcake by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cupcake. If the toothpick comes out with wet batter on it, they need a few more minutes.
Variations
Sand – Crush graham crackers and add them to the bottom of the cupcakes to look like sand.
Fishing Pole – Add a mini pretzel stick and a pull-n-peel licorice rope to this cupcake to reel the fish in
