Two Ways to Make This Craft
You can create two different looks depending on the paper you use:
✔️ White Paper Option
- Use colorful paint for the fingerprints
- Creates a bright, colorful “wish puff” look
✔️ Blue Paper Option (My Favorite 💙)
- Use white paint for the fingerprints
- Gives it a soft, classic dandelion look
Tips
- White paint on colored paper gives the best “wish” effect
- Use washable paint for easy cleanup
- Let kids add extra hearts or colors if they want
- Looks great framed or slipped into a card

Hi,
I have enjoyed many of your patterns. However, when I try to do the Mother’s card it comes us blank. I would think it was my computer, but it is labeled blank.
I figured you need to know.
Sincerely,
Diana
Hmm…Thank you so much for reaching out. I keep trying the link and it is working on my end. Let me give you the direct URL to the printable to try. https://kidfriendlythingstodo.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/mothers-day-wish-puff-printable-with-green-hearts_compressed.pdf Try this and let me know if it does not work. 🙂
I am having the same issue, even with the new link. Any suggestions? Thank you!
UPDATED! Thank you so much for letting me know! 💛 I’ve updated the printable link, so it should download correctly now. If it still looks blank, try downloading and opening it in your files or a PDF app — that usually fixes it!

I LOVE the wish flower for mother’s day! When I print it there is a gray background and frame. Is there a way to upload it so it is white in the background?
I did it just for you! 😊 I love the original too, but I totally get wanting a white background. The new version is just above the Grandma one 💛
YOU ARE THE BEST!
