Ingredients:
- 1&1/2 cups of ketchup
- 1/2 cup of packed light brown sugar – dark is fine, too
- 3 Tblsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
- 3 Tblsp. of Worcestershire Sauce
- 1&1/2 tsp. of paprika – I used Spanish, it has a little smoke flavor, but you can use regular paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. of mustard powder
- 3/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 cup of water
One Pot Basic Barbeque Sauce
Ingredients
- 1&1/2 cups ketchup
- ½ cup light brown sugar packed – you can also use dark
- 3 tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
- 3 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1&1/2 tsp. paprika – I used Spanish. It has a little smoke flavor, but you can use regular paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. mustard powder
- ¾ tsp. ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp. celery seed
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- Using a large saucepan, add everything into the pan
- Set the heat to med/high and get it boiling while stirring
- Lower the heat, and simmer until it thickens up a bit
- That’s it! Let it cool off a bit before you baste your meat
