Pizza Crescent Ring Recipe

An easy Pizza Crescent Ring that’s a perfect appetizer or dinner for your family.


  • 2 packages of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup of Shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Jar of Pizza Sauce – I used Ragu Traditional Pizza Sauce
  • Optional – pepperoni and/or other pizza toppings
  • Optional – 1 Tbsp. of olive oil
  • Optional – Parmesan Cheese – shredded

Other equipment needed:

  • Flat baking sheet
  • Parchment Paper


  • Place parchment paper over your baking sheet
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
  • Open 2 refrigerated crescent roll tubes
  • Making a Pizza Crescent Ring
  • Set out crescent roll triangles in a circle – they should overlap each other and the pointed side should be on the outside of the circle

  • Sprinkle most of the mozzarella cheese on the inside (wide portion) circle of crescent dough – reserve some cheese to go on top of the pepperoni slices
  • Add pepperoni slices on top of the mozzarella cheese 
  • Add a little bit more of mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni
  • Fold the pointed edge of the cresenct roll over the filling and tuck the point under the ring
  • Optional – Rub some olive oil over the top of the ring and sprinkle on Parmesan cheese
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until dough is fully cooked through
  • Pull out of the oven and let cool a little
  • Meanwhile heat the pizza sauce in a saucepan until warm
  • Transfer the pizza ring onto a large plater

  • Place the sauce into a bowl and put the bowl in the middle of the ring
  • Slice the Cresent Ring
  • Serve with sauce for dipping


  • Keep leftover Pizza Ring Slices in an airtight container and in your refrigerator for up to 4 days
