The bonus is that it’s super easy to make. You really only need 2 ingredients. You can customize the pizza ring with your favorite pizza ingredients or only use pepperoni like I did.

How to Make Crescent Roll Pizza Ring

{full recipe, below}

  1. Open 2 refrigerated crescent roll tubes
  2. Place parchment paper on a flat baking sheet
  3. Set out crescent roll triangles in a circle – they should overlap each other and the pointed side should be on the outside of the circle
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese in the inside circle of crescent dough
  5. Add pepperoni slices on top of the mozzarella cheese
  6. Add a little bit more mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni
  7. Fold the pointed edge of the crescent roll over the filling and tuck the point under the ring
  8. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes

Equipment

  • Flat baking sheet
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 2 8 oz. Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1 14 oz. Jar of Pizza Sauce – I used Ragu Traditional Pizza Sauce
  • 1 3 oz. pepperoni and/or other pizza toppings (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil Optional –
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese – shredded  Optional –

Instructions

  • Place parchment paper over your baking sheet
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
  • Open 2 refrigerated crescent roll tubes
  • Set out crescent roll triangles in a circle – they should overlap each other and the pointed side should be on the outside of the circle

  • Sprinkle most of the mozzarella cheese on the inside (wide portion) circle of crescent dough – reserve some cheese to go on top of the pepperoni slices

  • Add pepperoni slices on top of the mozzarella cheese 
  • Add a little bit more of mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni
  • Fold the pointed edge of the cresenct roll over the filling and tuck the point under the ring
  • Optional – Rub some olive oil over the top of the ring and sprinkle on Parmesan cheese
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until dough is fully cooked through
  • Pull out of the oven and let cool a little
  • Meanwhile heat the pizza sauce in a saucepan until warm
  • Transfer the pizza ring onto a large plater
  • Place the sauce into a bowl and put the bowl in the middle of the ring

  • Slice the Cresent Ring
  • Serve with sauce for dipping
