These sausage bites are so delicious! I made them as bites for lunch and then transformed them into a sausage and rice dinner later that night. Just heat some pineapple chunks, green pepper, and tomatoes in olive oil until tender. Add the sausage bites and serve over cooked white rice. There you have it, a delicious dinner.

- Pour the maple syrup, and BBQ sauce into the slow cooker
- Slice the sausage on a diagonal into bite-sized pieces
- Add them to the slow cooker
- Place lid on the slow cooker
- Cook on high heat for 2 hours or low for 4 hours

Ingredients
- 1&1/2 cups Hickory and Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce
- ½ cup Maple Syrup
- 2 1 lb. Packages of Smoked Sausage
Instructions
- Optional – line the slow cooker
- Pour the bbq sauce and syrup into the slow cooker
- Slice the sausage into diagonal bite-sized pieces
- Add the sausage and fold into the sauce
- Place lid on slow cooker
- Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 to 6 hours

- if you can’t find sauce with brown sugar, then just get Hickory Flavored and add 1/4 packed cup of brown sugar to the recipe
