What goes will with stuffed Jalapenos?
- Cheese – melted cheese
- Salsa
- Cornbread
Can you freeze the Stuffed Jalapenos?
- you can freeze stuffed jalapenos. simply place them in a freezer bag. When you thaw them the pepper will lose some of its firmness, but the taste will be the same. To reheat, baking in the oven is preferred as the microwave will make them limp. Set the oven to 350 degrees, and reheat until warmed through. You can cover the bacon with foil to avoid burning it.
How do you make Stuffed Jalapenos?

Delicious Jalapeno Bites Appetizers
- Prep Time: 10 min.
- Cook Time: 20 min.
- Total Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: 5-6 peppers 1x
Ingredients
- 5–6 large jalapeno peppers
- 6–8 oz. of softened cream cheese – I used 1/3 less fat
- 3 tsp. of minced garlic
- 2 T of Worcestershire sauce
- 5–6 bacon strips
- 5–6 toothpicks that have been soaked in water
- aluminum foil
Instructions
- Just grab a bowl – throw in the cream cheese, minced garlic and add the Worcestershire sauce
- Mix everything together
- Hallow the peppers out, getting rid of the seeds and veins (these two areas contain the most heat from the hot pepper)
- Stuff the peppers – sometimes it helps to cut a slit down the side of the pepper so you know you are stuffing it full of cheese
- Wrap with bacon, secure with a toothpicks
Grilling Method
- Place some foil on the grill, and cook the wrapped peppers for about 15-20 minutes over indirect, med-high heat, or until the bacon is cooked through and crispy
Oven Method
- Set your oven to 400 degrees
- Line a baking sheet with non-stick foil (or spray foil with cooking spray)
- Place bacon wrapped poppers onto the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until bacon is brown and crispy
Serving
- Slice into bite-size pieces, and insert toothpicks to make the pieces easy to grab
Notes
Using Pre-Cooked Bacon:
- If you are using pre-cooked bacon then you will want to lower the temperature to 350 degrees and cut your baking time in half. Check on the poppers often to be sure the bacon does not over-cook

Can you cook the poppers in the oven. Will the bacon get crispy?
Oh, yes! I cook bacon in the oven all of the time. Place bacon-wrapped poppers on a baking sheet. Set your oven to 400 degrees, and bake for about 20 minutes or until bacon is crispy and brown. Thank you for asking. I’m going to add this method to the recipe instructions, as most people won’t be grilling in January. 🙂
