FAQs

Can I use a different candy base instead of Reese’s?
Yes! Chocolate-covered cookies or peanut butter cups from other brands work too. Just make sure they’re flat on top so the face details stick easily.

Do these treats hold up well for parties?
They do! Keep them at room temperature until serving. If your home is warm, refrigerate them briefly so the chocolate doesn’t soften.

How far in advance can I make them?
These cats can be made a day ahead and stored in an airtight container at room temperature.

What if I don’t have edible markers?
You can use a tiny dot of melted chocolate or black decorating gel to make the pupils on the M&M eyes instead.
