Jell-O Candied Pumpkin Seeds

You’ll Need:
- Pumpkin seeds – rinsed and drained
- A parchment paper-lined baking sheet
- 1/2 stick of butter (4Tbsp.)
- 3 Tbsp. of light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
- A small box of jello – any flavor
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Place your pumpkin seeds onto the baking sheet, and pre-bake them. Let them bake for about 10 minutes, or until they are dried out, and turning a golden brown. When they have baked enough, toss them. Leave them on the parchment paper, and set aside
- While those are cooking…grab yourself a saucepan
- Over med/high heat, melt the butter
- Add the corn syrup, and brown sugar – Mix it all together
- Add the jello. Stir in. Stirring constantly…Bring mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for about 5 minutes
- Pour jello mixture onto the pumpkin seeds, spread the mixture around
- Bake for another 10 minutes
- Let cool slightly, so the mixture is still soft, but won’t burn you
- Pull seeds apart in clusters, and toss into a serving bowl
- Serve & Enjoy!
