You’ll Need:

  • Pumpkin seeds – rinsed and drained
  • A parchment paper-lined baking sheet
  • 1/2 stick of butter (4Tbsp.)
  • 3 Tbsp. of light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
  • A small box of jello – any flavor

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

  • Place your pumpkin seeds onto the baking sheet, and pre-bake them. Let them bake for about 10 minutes, or until they are dried out, and turning a golden brown. When they have baked enough, toss them. Leave them on the parchment paper, and set aside
  • While those are cooking…grab yourself a saucepan
  • Over med/high heat, melt the butter
  • Add the corn syrup, and brown sugar – Mix it all together
  • Add the jello. Stir in. Stirring constantly…Bring mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for about 5 minutes

  • Pour jello mixture onto the pumpkin seeds, spread the mixture around
  • Bake for another 10 minutes
  • Let cool slightly, so the mixture is still soft, but won’t burn you
  • Pull seeds apart in clusters, and toss into a serving bowl
