HOW TO MAKE THE FLOWER SUNCATCHERS

  1. Print your chosen flower template on spring colored paper or white paper for a coloring element.
  2. Cut out the flower shape. If printing on white paper – add a coloring element right here.
  3. Cut along the dashed inner circle to remove the center.
  4. Flip the flower over and place strips of clear packaging tape across the back of the opening so the sticky side covers the hole.
  5. Stick small pieces of colorful tissue paper onto the sticky tape.
  6. Trim any extra tissue paper if needed.
  7. Hang in a sunny classroom window or at home and enjoy the colorful glow.

Helpful Tip:
For younger kids, an adult can cut the outer flower first and let children cut the inner circle. This keeps the craft fun while still letting kids practice their cutting skills.

These flower templates come in three sizes so you can pick what works best for your kids or classroom.
