Making crafts like this one with the kids is so much fun. This one is so easy that even little kids like preschoolers can help make it. Like this craft on how to make an apple out of a paper bag, a paper plate fish craft, and this adorable handprint bird in a torn paper nest

This paper flower craft would be the perfect craft for Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day. Make these flowers from cupcake liners in school as Mother’s Day gifts or at a school party for Valentine’s Day. Everyone will be so excited to receive these flowers from the kids.

Supplies for these Paper Flowers

Cupcake Wrappers – I used Martha Stewart wrappers with a scalloped edge.

Green Pipe Cleaners – if you want to make a fancy cupcake liner flower then you can use flower stems from the floral sections of your local craft store. If you use flower stems, then you might consider getting floral tape, and silk leaves

Mini Cupcake Wrappers – The mini cupcake liner will be the center of the flower. It is fun to use a vibrant color for the middle cupcake liner as a stark contrast to the outside liners

Regular-Sized Cupcake Wrappers – You can use any color of cupcake liner, but I used a variety of pinks and reds

Equipment Needed

Hole Punch – You’ll use this to punch a hole in the cupcake liners and secure them together with your pipe cleaner
