Ocean Craft: Easy Cup Octopus Printable for Kids

If you’ve ever needed an ocean craft that looks cute but doesn’t turn into a huge setup, this little octopus printable might be one of the easiest activities we’ve made lately.
I wanted something kids could finish quickly without paint, drying time, or a giant mess—and this simple ocean craft ended up being one of those activities that looked way cuter than I expected once the cup and googly eyes went on.
As a former teacher and mom of four, I’ve always loved ocean crafts for kids that leave room for creativity but still give kids a finished project they’re proud to show off. This one does exactly that. Every octopus comes out different depending on the colors and faces they choose.
This easy ocean craft works well for summer afternoons, preschool themes, ocean units, and simple indoor activities.

Supplies for This Ocean Craft

- Ocean octopus printable
- Plastic cup (9-16 oz works well)
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Googly eyes

- Black marker
How to Make This Cup Octopus Ocean Craft
1. Print the ocean craft template
Print the octopus page on regular printer paper or cardstock.

Glue on googly eyes and draw a smile.
4. Add the cup
Turn the plastic cup upside down and place it over the center circle.
