This Blueberry Buckle is an old-fashioned recipe that is the best. Always a hit at potlucks and holidays, but also perfect as a coffee cake for breakfast, a delicious snack, or as a dessert. A classic Blueberry Buckle Recipe that’s easy to make and simply delicious.
Blueberry Buckle Recipe
Thick, luxurious, packed with juicy blueberries, a streusel topping, delicious to the last bite, and pairs perfectly with your morning cup of coffee. What more could you want from a simple blueberry buckle cake recipe?
Can I use Frozen Blueberries in this buckle recipe?
Yes, you absolutely can and the best part is that you don’t even have to thaw the berries. Just toss them in just like you would your fresh blueberries. Of course, frozen blueberries do tend to bleed a little easier than fresh blueberries, so gently fold them into your recipe
What other Berries can I use in place of blueberries in a blueberry buckle recipe?
- raspberries
- blackberries
- strawberries
- a mixture for a “summer berry buckle”
- goji berries
- cherries (technically not a berry, but it would be delicious)
- cranberries
- boysenberries
