Ingredients:
- tater tots – no need to thaw these. Frozen tater tots will hold up better in the baking process
- 1 lb. of sirloin ground beef – I prefer sirloin because it is less fatty and has a better flavor, but you can use any type of ground beef
- 1 can (10.5 oz.) of cream of celery – feel free to use another type of cream of something soup
- 1/3 cup of 2 % milk (you can substitute whole milk)
- 2 cups of frozen broccoli pieces – as I stated above, you can use just about any type of vegetable you have on hand but if you use fresh, you may need to cook it partially or bake the casserole a bit longer
- shredded cheddar cheese – any type of cheese with a sharp flavor that melts well will do
- Fried Onions – I would not leave these out of the recipe as they provide a lot of the flavor
