Root Beer Float Popsicles
Root Beer Floats are a nostalgiac dessert and treat I enjoy each summer. This rootbeer float popsicle lends the same flavor as a rootbeer float in a fun popsicle package. I am no stranger to homemade popsicles. I’ve definitely made my fair share of homemade popsicles like these Orange Creamsicle Popsicles , Homemade Sweet Tea Popsicles, and Frozen Banana Popsicles

We don’t always indulge ourselves with a soda treat, but Root Beer Floats are a summertime tradition.

This year, we added a new twist to one of our favorite ice cream desserts and turned it into a popsicle.

The kids all agreed – They tasted like a Frozen Root Beer Float.

Tips and Tricks for this Homemade Popsicle:
- I’ve had comments that say you can substitute milk for the ice cream
- Another reader commented that she has always used sweetened condensed milk in place of the ice cream and a splash of vanilla extract – yum!
- Allow the bubbles to settle before adding more soda to the mold. Do this a few times until the mold is about halfway filled with soda
- Let the popsicles freeze for at least 2 hours or overnight
