Delicious Sauce smothered food is one of my favorite ways to eat. When you are grilling recipes this summer, don’t forget about the sauce. Like this Vidalia Onion Sauce, Basic Barbecue Sauce, and Sweet Balsamic Sauce to go over your food.

What do you do after accidentally picking three buckets of strawberries with the kids? You get creative in the kitchen. I created a delicious sauce for our pork tenderloin that will be delicious on any meat.

  • 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup of washed strawberries with stems removed
  • 1/4 c of red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. of sugar
  • 2 tsp. of cornstarch mixed with 1 Tbsp. water

Ingredients

  • ½ Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup washed strawberries with stems removed
  • ¼ c red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. water

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter
  • Add the strawberries, and cook down until the juices are running – stirring occasionally
  • Add the vinegar, garlic powder, and sugar – stir in
  • Mix the cornstarch and water
  • Add the cornstarch mixture – a little bit at a time so it doesn’t over thicken – and continue to cook until the sauce thickens to your linking – about 2 minutes

  • That’s it! Serve over your favorite grilled meats and fish
