Then, once this cake has been served, and it’s sitting out on the counter…I dare you NOT to grab a fork and start picking away at the chocolate deliciousness! Go ahead, test your willpower. Here’s the recipe:

You'll Need
  1. 1 & 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
  2. 2 cups of sugar
  3. 3/4 cup of cocoa powder
  4. 3 t of baking soda
  5. 1 t of cream of tartar
  6. 1 t of salt
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 1 cup of bold coffee
  9. 1 cup of buttermilk
  10. 1/2 cup of canola oil
  11. 1 t vanilla
  12. Frosting: Using 4 colorful frosting sections to cover the cake - each color requires
  13. 2 T melted butter
  14. 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  15. 1/2 t of vanilla
  16. 1 T milk
  17. Food colorant
  1. Mix the dry ingredients together - flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt
  2. Add the wet ingredients - eggs, coffee, milk, oil and vanilla
  3. Pour into a greased bundt pan or large 9x13 cake pan
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes - or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat - melt butter
  6. Add vanilla, powdered sugar, food colorant and milk - stirring constantly
  7. Pour the mixture over one section of the cake, repeat with the other colors you have chosen
