I really think this would be cool in individual fish bowls. I think little clear Solo Cups would do the trick. Here’s how I made the blue jello aquarium.

This idea would be cool in individual clear Solo Cups!!!! I love it!!!

Are you ready to make these fun Mini Fish Bowls? Let’s make sure you have everything that you need…

You’ll Need – For one fishbowl – (Serves 8):

  • A small fishbowl
  • 4 packages of Knox Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1 32 oz. container of Cool Blue Gatorade
  • 2 T sugar
  • Gummy Fish

  • In a large heatproof bowl, pour 1 cup of cold Gatorade
  • Sprinkle the Unflavored gelatin packs over the Gatorade, and let stand for about 5 minutes
  • Meanwhile – In a medium to large saucepan, pour 3 cups of Gatorade, and set the temperature on high
  • Bring to a low boil
  • Add the two Tablespoons of sugar, and stir to dissolve
  • Pour the hot mixture into the gelatin mixture, and mix together
  • Set that into the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to cool down
  • Once cooled to about luke-warm pour into the fishbowl – or Solo Cups – whichever you have **If you use cups, the time the jello needs to set up will be cut considerably – so plan accordingly
  • Place fishbowl into the refrigerator until jello is partially set up – depending on your refrigerator’s temp. -about an hour to an hour and one-half
  • Push the gummy fish down into the bowl, and place the bowl back into the refrigerator to set up completely
  • (for another 2 hours, to overnight)
  • Remove from refrigerator and serve when ready
