Eyeball Donuts are a spooky, fun, and super-easy Halloween treat. Using mini powdered donuts, colorful chocolate melts, chocolate chips, and a little red icing, you can create creepy-cute edible eyeballs that kids (and adults!) will love. No baking required – just decorate and enjoy.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Mini Powder Doughnuts
  • Chocolate Melts – assoted Halloween colors and blue
  • Chocolate Frosting
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Red Icing in a tube or piping bag with a writing tip for bloodshot eyes

How to Make Eyeball Donuts

Add the Eye: Spread frosting onto the bottom of a chocolate melt.

Place the chocolate melt in the center of the mini powdered donut.

Add the Pupil:
Add chocolate frosting to the chocolate chip.

Press the chocolate chip in the center of the chocolate melt.

Create Bloodshot Effect:
Use red icing to draw thin lines radiating from the pupil to give a spooky, bloodshot look.

Let Set:
Allow the icing to harden completely before serving.

Expert Tips

Use a toothpick to dab icing onto the chocolate chips. It is a nice small utensil that does the trick without getting frosting all over the place.

Instructions

  • Make the eye center: Spread frosting onto the bottom of a chocolate melt
