Last week, the kids and I started experimenting with foil-pack S’mores burritos.
We had so much fun experimenting with flavors and they all turned out delicious. We made the classic smores, Resees’ flavor, and finally, strawberries with a chocolate combo.
We loved them all. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the combinations and the possibilities are endless for more! I personally think that a Snickers S’more would be delightful.
What are some good ideas for S’mores Combinations?
- peanut butter and chocolate with marshmallows – Resees’ peanut butter cup candy with marshmallows would work for this idea
- strawberry and chocolate with marshmallow
- caramel with chocolate and marshmallow – Rolo candy would be a good idea
- cookie dough with chocolate and marshmallow
- Cookies and Cream Hershey bar with marshmallow
- peanut butter and jelly – with chocolate and marshmallow
- pretzel and caramel with chocolate and marshmallow
- pineapple and chocolate with marshmallow
- turtle flavor – add caramel and pecans to the classic flavor
- classic flavor – chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker
- Snickers candy bar with marshmallow
- bananas with semi-sweet chocolate chips and marshmallows
Here’s a photo of our peanut butter flavored S’more. Simple to make and so delicious. I highly recommend trying this combination.
Can you make S’mores over a gas grill?
- You can make S’mores over the grates of a gas grill. Cook the S’more over indirect heat with a medium heat temperature for about 5-7 minutes. If you can’t find a spot away from an open flame, try using a cookie sheet as a barrier between the flames and the foil packet
Can you bake Grilled S’mores in the oven?
- Yes. Prep the Foil Pack S’mores just like you would for the grill and bake at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes
Making these S’mores on the stove:
- Spray the outside of the burrito with cooking spray. Use a cast-iron skillet to cook the burrito over medium heat – flipping when each side has turned golden brown for a total time of about 5-7 min.

How do you make a Foil Tent?
- Cut one piece of aluminum foil about twice the length of the food to be wrapped. Be generous with the length of the foil.
- Place the food in the middle of the foil sheet
- Pull the opposite foil sides of the foil up, above the food, and fold the ends over making a crease at the top. Fold this two more times – leaving plenty of air space between the food and the double folded top of the foil
- Pinch the ends of the foil and fold toward the center making tight seals
Ingredients:
- burrito sized flour tortilla shell
- aluminum foil – I used heavy-duty foil
- mini marshmallows
- Hershey Candy Bar half
- Graham Cracker
Optional Toppings:
- cinnamon sugar
