Instructions:
- Butter a 9×11 baking dish
- Unwrap and separate the crescent roll dough
- Peel, core, and slice your Granny Smith apples into wedges
- Place apple slices onto the wide section of each triangle of dough and roll them up around the apple
- Place rolled dumplings seam side down into the baking dish
- In a small saucepan over medium heat make the caramel sauce with butter, brown sugar, and vanilla
- Pour the sauce over the rolls
- Now, pour the lemon-lime soda in between the rolls
