Equipment

  • glass microwave proof bowl
  • Disposable Gloves
  • Twist ties
  • black Sharpie
  • optional: Yarn – I used black

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Popcorn Kernals
  • ¼ cup Canola Oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Pour oil into a large heavy bottom pan
  • Warm the oil over medium-high heat
  • Place a few kernels into the oil – when they pop, the oil is ready
  • Remove the popped kernels and add the 1/2 cup of kernels to the heated oil
  • Cover the pot
  • When the kernels are popping quickly, shake the pot to stir the kernels
  • Once the kernels have slowed, remove the pot from the heat
  • Keep the lid on until the kernels have finished
  • Salt the popcorn
  • Let the popcorn cool down
  • Stuff each glove full of popcorn
  • tie the top with a twist tie
  • If you want, add a yarn or ribbon bow
  • turn upside down and make a ghostly face with the black Sharpie

Notes

  • You can make the ghost faces before you stuff the gloves. Just let the marker dry before you handle the gloves
