What Makes the Best Valentines Activities?
I think anything that the kids spend time making, creating, enjoying, and exploring qualifies as an activity. Here, you’ll find anything from Valentine’s games to play to Valentine’s Crafts to make, science projects to make, Art Projects to make, and Valentine’s Day Treats to make.

Paint Valentine Rocks

Painted rocks are not only beautiful, but they are a great activity. If it moves you to share your painted rocks, then hide them near a path or sidewalk for others to discover. Finding painted rocks out in nature always brings a smile to someone and creates a little fleeting happiness in their heart. No pun intended. They can then re-hide them for someone else to get the same pleasure from.

This is a cute Valentine to make with the kids. They will have so much fun designing this owl. If you don’t want to give their friends, yet “another” pencil, insert a glow stick, a fun crazy straw, Pixie Stick, or cut the slits a little more, and insert slap bracelets. Unfortunately, the link for this no longer works.

Make Valentine Treats with the Kids
Valentine Rice Krispies Treats

Awe…:) How sweet would these be at a Valentine’s Day Party or an after-school snack? So sweet. Here’s what I would do to make these fun treats.
Line a baking pan with wax paper. Use Kellogg’s recipe to make rice krispies treats with the kids. Add a few drops of red food coloring to the marshmallow mixture. Fold the rice krispies into the pink marshmallow. Pour into the lined baking pan to form a rectangle shape. Let it cool off for a few minutes. Lift the rectangle-shaped krispies out of the pan with the wax paper under them. Use small heart cookie cutters to make heart shapes.
Use fun cardstock and toothpicks to make arrows.
Place arrow toothpicks into heart treats.
This was initially found on Basic Grey but the link no longer works.
