This Easter milkshake, made with Peeps, is an easy-to-make, colorful spring treat for kids and a great dessert to enjoy during the Easter holiday.

During the Easter holiday season, I love to make fun food crafts for the kids as an extra special treat. In years past, I’ve made things like Peeps Easter Dirt Cups, Bunny Cheese Sticks, and Colorful Chocolate Covered Pretzel Bites.
This milkshake is fun and easy to make, making it the perfect sweet treat for the kids or adults during the Easter holiday season.

Expert Tips
If you don’t freeze the fluff and candy, gravity will cause the Sixlets to fall off of the fluff and it will pull the fluff down. If you choose to decorate the rims of the milkshake glasses, freeze them after adding the candy to keep it from falling off the soft fluff.
If you don’t have whole milk, try adding half and half to your skim or 1% milk to thicken it. Using 2% milk is a suitable substitute for whole milk. It won’t alter the texture too much.

Variations
Flavor:
You can change the flavor by simply switching out extract flavors. Instead of banana extract, use a different flavor. I would, however, make sure the extract is clear so as not to change the color of the milkshake.
There are new flavored Peeps, such as Dr. Pepper, Churro, Sour, Rice Krispies, and Cookies & Cream. Try using flavored Peeps to change your milkshake flavor.
