- You can refrigerate cooked asparagus, covered for 3-4 days – however, cooked asparagus is best eaten within the first couple of days before it gets too soft

- 16 oz. of fresh asparagus
- 4 oz. of cream cheese
- 1/4 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. of onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheese – like mild cheddar
- 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
Asparagus Casserole
Ingredients
- 16 oz. fresh asparagus
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ cup shredded cheddar
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325
- Rinse and snap the asparagus (take a handful of asparagus, hold them by both ends, and bend – they will snap apart – discard the bottom portion, and use the top)
- In a small bowl, mix the chicken broth and cream cheese
- mix the garlic, onion, and salt into the broth mixture
- Grease a casserole dish
- Place the asparagus into the dish
- pour the broth mixture over the asparagus
- sprinkle cheese over the broth mixture
- place aluminum foil over the dish
- Bake for 30 minutes, remove foil and bake another 10 minutes
