FAQ’s

Make Ahead and Storage:

How far in advance can I make rice Krispie treats?

Rice Krispie Treats can be made a few days in advance. However, if treats are exposed to air they may harden up. Make sure treats are stored in an air-tight container

Storing: Store in an airtight container at room temperature

How do I Cut Rice Krispies Treats?

The best way to cut rice Krispie treats is to use a pizza cutter or a large serrated knife that has been sprayed with cooking spray

Why is my Rice Krispie Treat hardening up so fast?

Sometimes rice Krispie treats can harden so fast that they don’t stay pliable for molding or cutting. I have found that using only fresh marshmallows is the best way to make Rice Krispie treats. Every time that I have used a previously opened bag of marshmallows, my treats have been frustrating to work with

Another tip is to keep the heat low and slow. I know, I’m impatient too, but trust me. Using high heat will only harden your marshmallow mixture turning your treats into rock candy
