How do you Melt Chocolate Melts?

  1. Pour chocolate melts into a microwave-proof glass bowl
  2. Microwave on high for 1 minute
  3. Use a silicone spoon to stir the chocolate until smooth
  4. If needed, microwave for 30 seconds longer and stir until smooth

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • wax paper
  • A baking pan (cookie sheet)

Crust

  • 4 cups of pretzels
  • 1/4  cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter (1 stick)
  • 1 bag (12 oz.) of White Chocolate melts

Toppings:

  • mini pretzel twists
  • candy eyes
  • candy corn
  • candy pumpkins
  • black cookie frosting with a writing tip
  • Halloween M&Ms

How to Make Halloween Candy Bark

  • Line the cake pan with wax paper
  • Crush the 4 cups of pretzels by using a blender or place them in a zip-tight bag and roll a heavy roller over them
  • pour the crushed pretzels into a large bowl
  • mix in sugar and melted butter
  • press the pretzel mixture onto the wax-lined baking sheet
  • bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes
  • let cool – the crust will still be loose
  • melt the chocolate
  • pour over the pretzel crust, and spread out across the pretzel crust
  • *it’s ok if some of the pretzels end up in your white chocolate. It will be topped with candy – soon enough
  • decorate candy pumpkins with faces made from the black cookie frosting
  • now, add pretzel twists, decorated pumpkin candy, M&Ms, candy corn, and place some eyes into the pretzel twists to make fun faces
  • place into the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to harden
  • use a pizza cutter to cut the bark into large pieces and bite-sized pieces
