Expert Tips
Decorate Cups ahead of time so all you have to do is pour, scoop, and serve
Sprinkles: I would not use the little round non-pereil sprinkles. I tried that at first, and then some fell into the drink, turning it black. The regular-sized jimmies work great and are still fun and colorful.
Ratio: Pour about 3/4 of a cup of soda into the clear cup.
Ice Cream: Set your ice cream out to soften while you decorate your rims
Variations
Frankenstein Floats: Use a Sharpie to make a Frankenstein face, pour green soda into the cups
Ghost Floats: Use a Sharpie to make a ghost face on the cups. Use clear soda to make the float.
Monster Floats: Use a Sharpie to make fun eyes all over the cup and pour purple soda inside.
What to Serve With
Halloween Foods: Jack-O-Lantern Grilled Cheese, Jack-O-Lantern Cheeseburger, Monster Cheeseburger, Mummy Hot Dog
Halloween Cookies: Twelve Halloween Cookies, Spider Web Cookies, Oreo Bat Cookies
Other Halloween Treats: Ghost Strawberries,
Storing
These floats are best when enjoyed right away.

What Glassware Works Best?

How do I Keep the Frosting from Sliding Off?
Make sure your cup is completely dry, and use a silicone spatula or spreading knife to spread the frosting onto the rim.
