Jell-O Witch Cauldron – Halloween Treat Idea
I love making fun Halloween foods for the kids. Throughout the years, I’ve made many cute Halloween treats to share on the blog like Pumpkin Fruit Cups, Graham Cracker Bandaids, and Rice Krispies Treats Ghosts.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Green Jell-O, like lime-flavored gelatin
- Hot Water- hot enough to dissolve the gelatin mix
- Whipped Topping – thawed
How to Make Witch Cauldron Jell-O
In a medium mixing bowl, pour the gelatin dessert
Dissolve the mix in the hot water
Carefully stir in two-thirds of the whipped topping into the hot water. Whisk it until it is fully mixed in and is frothy with bubbles.
Reserve the rest of the whipped topping to put on the dessert – if desired
Pour into clear serving glasses or mini cauldrons
Place into the fridge to set up. This will take at least three hours
Once the mixture is set up and you are ready to serve, add fun candies like bone sprinkles, eyes, gummy worms, and spiders
Tips and Tricks
- I found these really cute miniature buckets in the Halloween Department of Dollar General (3 for $1)
- Don’t try to settle the Jell-O by tapping the cups. You want bubbles at the top of your dessert. They add to the effect.
