Why Cardstock Is Best

Regular paper tends to wrinkle and tear when wet. Cardstock is sturdier and keeps the marbled pattern crisp when you scrape off the shaving cream.

Valentine Craft Tips for Best Results

  • Don’t over-swirl — too much mixing makes muddy colors
  • Thick shaving cream layer works best
  • Press paper evenly — don’t wiggle it
  • Scrape in one direction for cleaner lines
  • Bright paints show strongest contrast
  • Silicone tools are easiest to clean

Variations

  • Try red, pink, and purple for Valentine hearts
  • Turn your marbled shaving cream hearts into cards
  • Use heart templates for Valentine decorations
