Scarecrow Marshmallow Pop – Thanksgiving Treat

I’ve been trying to come up with a cute scarecrow treat for a fall treat or a Thanksgiving food craft to make. This is my third attempt. The last two were so disappointing. The ideas looked good on paper but flopped in reality. Finally, I think I have a winner. This treat is easy to make and pretty cute. I think it’ll be a big hit with the kids.

How Long Do Marshmallow Pops last?

Marshmallows become stale rather quickly. Once out of the bag, they start to harden up. You should plan on serving them within 1-2 days after making them.

How Should You Store Marshmallow Pops?

Marshmallow pops should be stored at room temperature, in a covered container for up to a couple of days.

Are you ready to make these cute Scarecrow treats? Let’s make sure you have everything you’ll need:

  • square marshmallows – Also known as S’more marshmallows
  • La Choy – Chow Mein noodles
  • melting chocolate
  • candy eyes
  • candy corn – Autumn mix
  • lollipop sticks

Other –

  • wax paper
  • microwave-proof – glass bowl
  • fork for dipping
  • toothpicks
  • knife – optional
  • something to display the marshmallow pops in

How Do You Display Marshmallow Pops?

I like to use a cylinder vase filled with rice, but I’ve also used Styrofoam as a way to hold the lollipops. You can also purchase lollipop displays.
