- salsa – I used Picante (mild), but you can adjust the heat by purchasing medium or hot!
What is Picante?
It’s basically a chunky salsa that has more of a pureed sauce than a runny liquid.
Tips and Tricks for making this Cream Cheese Salsa Dip
- make sure that your cream cheese has softened so you don’t get big chunks of cream cheese left in your dip
- use a thick salsa that’s not too runny
- if you want to really blend this to perfection, you can pop it in the blender
- whisking this recipe is perfectly fine and small pieces of cream cheese that won’t blend are fine, as well – nobody will notice
- you can easily double or triple this recipe for more yummy dip
