This French Dip Sandwich made in the Slow Cooker is so easy and delicious. Add a few ingredients to your roast and let it cook all day. This is the perfect dinner to end a busy day with the family or the perfect easy meal for game day and holidays.

Sandwich recipes are so much fun. One of my favorite sandwich recipes is a recipe that my mom used to make us after long road trips which is a Ham and Cheese Slider. They are easy to make ahead and freeze. Jalapeno Popper and Bacon Grilled Cheese is a sandwich that is out of this world, amazing.

How Do You Make French Dip in the Crock-Pot?

  1. Place the roast beef into the slow cooker
  2. Add juices and seasonings
  3. Place lid on and cook on high for 6-8 hours or until beef is tender
  4. Shred beef
  5. Strain juice
  6. Serve beef on split french bread, with Au Jus

Ingredients

  • 1 3 lbs. Beef Chuck Roast
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp. savory spice
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3-4 whole peppercorns
  • 8 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 8 French Rolls – split

Instructions

  • Place the roast into the slow cooker
  • Add the liquids and seasonings
  • Place the lid onto the slow cooker and cook on high for 6 to 8 hours or until tender beef pulls apart
  • Use tongs or a fork to pull the beef apart
  • Strain broth for dipping
  • Place shredded beef on rolls – add sliced cheese to beef
  • Serve with dipping broth
