Tips and Tricks

Chilling – This recipe needs time in the fridge to chill. The ingredients need time to come together and give you that delicious flavor you find at Kentucky Fried Chicken that you’ve grown to know and love

Food Processor – These ingredients should be finely minced. You can use a food processor to do this chopping one ingredient at a time

Temperature – Coleslaw is best served cold. If you are transporting this recipe or serving it outside on a hot summer day consider placing your serving dish or container on top of a bed of ice to

Serving – Use a large slotted spoon for serving. The dressing does tend to be a little runny and a slotted spoon will help remove any excess dressing from your portion before placing it onto your plate

One of my favorite slaws is the one from KFC. This “copycat” version comes very very close. Regardless of whether you think it does or not, it is a recipe and coleslaw worth your time to make. Enjoy!!
