Paper Quilt Placemat For Thanksgiving

Make paper placemats that look like quilts for the kids Thanksgiving table. Then, let the kids have fun coloring on their paper placemats.

This is so easy and fun to do. Then, at Thanksgiving, the kids get to decorate it even more.
Supplies

A 12×18 piece of construction paper
4 pieces of construction paper in fall colors (9×12 standard size)
Glue
Buttons
Rick-Rack Ribbon
Instructions
- Fold the larger piece of paper into four sections

- Fold the regular-sized pieces in half and cut them into two pieces

- Glue the colorful halves onto the larger paper, like a patchwork quilt

- Glue buttons on the sides of the placemat
- Finish your placemat with gluing rick-rack down the seams of the quilt

Tips for Extra Fun
Provide some Thanksgiving Stickers and crayons so kids can color and decorate their placemats on Thanksgiving Day.
