Jack-O-Lantern Taco Dip Halloween Appetizer Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 1 oz. taco seasoning
- ½ cup salsa mild
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
Jack-O-Lantern Decoration ingredients
- 3 blue tortilla chips triangles
- 1 3 oz. black olives sliced
- 1 celery 3-inch piece
Instructions
- In a large bowl – mix the cream cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning
- If you plan on making this in advance, then store this portion – covered in a the fridge
- When you are ready, grab your platter
- Scoop the cream cheese mixture into the middle of the platter and spread out into a large circle that is the width of your platter
- Cover the mixture in shredded cheese
- Try to find some broken blue chips that you can make smaller triangle from
- Just break off the uneven parts to form your triangles for the eyes and mouth
- Form a smile or frown with the sliced olives
- Push the celery piece into the top to represent the stem
- Serve with a bowl of tortilla chips
