Supplies You’ll Need
- Cardstock – White and Green
- Tissue paper – Pastel Colors
- Glue – I used school glue for this craft, but a glue stick would probably work, too.
- Candy Apple Sticks
- Green Floral Tape
- Half Round Foam Balls
- Paper Cups – 8 oz.
- Shredded brown paper
How to Make this Hyacinth Craft
Step One: Prepare the Stem
Wrap the candy apple stick with floral tape

Step Two: Make the Flower
Cut an oval out of cardstock

Add glue to the oval

Crumple up torn pieces of tissue paper and place them onto the glue

Step Three: Assemble the Flower
Glue the flower to the flat end of the candy stick
Step Four: Make and Attach Leaves
Cut out leaves from green card stock and glue those under the flower top

Let dry
Step Five: Flower Pot
Place the half foam ball into the bottom of the paper cup

Push the pointed end of the flower into the foam at the bottom of the cup
Add brown shredded paper to the cup for dirt

Expert Tips
School glue is a great glue for little ones, but it can take a while to dry. If you want a craft that the kids can take home that day or are too impatient for school glue to dry, then try using a tacky glue like Beacon 3-in-1 glue

Variations
Stems – If you don’t have a candy apple stick or wooden skewer, try a popsicle stick instead
Flower Pot – Try using a clay pot or a recycled empty vegetable can that is decorated with drawings from the kids
