Here’s What You’ll Need for these Flower Cupcakes:
- Baked cupcakes baked in a thick paper wrapper – I found that using thick paper wrappers that are almost like gift box thickness
- fun flower cupcake wrappers – I found some fun petal-shaped cupcake wrappers that are perfect for this food craft
- Frosting – flower colors like pink, white, or yellow. You might have to mix white frosting with food coloring to achieve the right color
- M&Ms for the center
- Paper straw
Instructions:
- Bake your cupcakes in these Wilton Cupcake wrappers that look like flowers.
- Decorate the cupcake with your favorite frosting, and add a little candy for the center of the flower.
- Cut a little hole in the wrapper at the bottom of the cupcake, and insert a malt straw.
- If the malt straw isn’t staying, try adding a little frosting as glue

- Bake your cupcakes in thick paper wrappers. If you can't find thick wrappers then you might be able to double up on normal wrappers
- Once the cupcakes have cooled off, decorate the cupcake with a colorful frosting
- add a little candy for the center of the flower.
- Cut a little hole in the wrapper at the bottom of the cupcake
- Cut a hole in the flower wrapper to match up
- Push the straw through the flower cupcake and add some frosting around the straw
- Push it up into the bottom of the cupcake going through the hole you made earlier
- If the malt straw isn't staying, try adding a little frosting as glue
