We love the Minions and everything from Despicable Me movies. I have so many Minion ideas and crafts to share with you. This Minion pencil craft is a cute and simple craft to make for the kids and hand out as birthday treats. Supplies You’ll Need:
- My First Yellow Pencil – a giant toddler-sized pencil
- Googly Eyes
- Blue foam paper
- Silver Glitter Glue (recommended for kids) or silver hot glue stick and a low-temp glue gun
- Black Sharpie
- Black cording for hair
Equipment
Low-temperature glue gun and glue sticks
Instructions:
- Add the googly eyes with a low-temp glue gun
- Cut blue foam paper to fit around the lower half of the pencil
- Wrap it around the pencil and glue to secure it in place
- Glue the eye onto the pencil
- Cut three little pieces of black cording and glue them above the eye, just under the eraser for hair
- Use a black Sharpie to make the mouth
- Trace around the googly eye with the silver glitter glue and let dry
